Take a guided trip on an open top kayak down the Huseyjarkvisl River.
Meander down this gentle river that weaves its way through the peaceful landscape surrounded by scenic north Iceland mountain views and bountiful local wildlife all nestled in the Skagafjörður fjord.
In this part of north Iceland which is particularly famous for its horses. Apparently it is the only part of Iceland where horses outnumber people and if you are lucky enough they might even take a break from their grazing and follow you for a spell.

You need to bring:
- Long sleeved fleece
- Thermals (optional-no cotton)
Some of these are weather dependent, you will get a little wet due to the design of the kayak.
It's a good recreational activity for anyone at any skill level. Age limit is 12 years unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please specify when booking if you will be bringing individuals younger than 12 for the trip.
At the end of the journey you can can go to the hot tubs or showers for free.
